Many opportunities are available to volunteer for the Hospice Hustle 2017 the day of the event.  Can’t make it that day?  We also need help in advance of September 17th.

Here are some ways in which you can help:

Course Marking – Usually one to two days prior to the event.  Volunteers will be given the course map for either the 25, 62 or the 100 mile courses. The day of course marking can be determined by the weather.

Registration – The day of the event from 7:00 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. Responsibilities consist of greeting riders and making sure proper forms are completed along with collection of fees for riders not pre-registerd online.

Food Prep – Riders will be given fruit and sandwiches along the route.  Sandwiches need to be made and fruit needs to be prepared the day before the event (Saturday, September 16th).

Tear Down – Involves disassembling SAG stops, loading of pickups with remaining supplies for transportation to our Munster office.  Also, the collecting of signage from the 25, 62 and 100 mile routes.
